Informative Review Critical Analysis Reflection

What I’m trying to imply is that it is a serious topic that everyone should know about. The history of cancer and how we got to where we are.
- How do your visual images help your audience adapt to scientific ideas or terms?
Are there any words or formalities your audience might find confusing?
The image that I used is to try and put the reader in the mood to try and understand as much as possible of what I’m reading its information that can help them a lot. As well as the people who were involved in this as well. Also, to influence people to search it up as well.

I think some words are like radiation Therapy or other ways of slowing down cancer. I think that’s the only words. I will try my best to explain everything.
- What linguistic ideologies might the audience hold?
I think they would hold on how the Medical Field or Researchers need to be more ethical towards their experiments that they are doing, and if they don’t they badly affect our community.
- Explain how you address memories of structural racism or classism in science attributing to peoples’ distrust in science.
I used the Syphilis study which is a perfect example of how the fear of going to the doctors is and just how unethical it is to do this to a certain community on purpose as well. I additionally add how Structal racism is not just that but by also your main language or they will make you wait a long time for health needs. Or even treat you differently because of your insurance.

I don’t think I put any informal words. I don’t believe I did.
- Are there examples recounting real-life experiences that might resonate with your audience?
I think the example of the Syphilis Study, I think them reading that story can make the reading understand that they are not alone with this fear or explain why others have fears in the first place.
- Does the essay format help or impede understanding?
I think it does. I try my best to not ramble on what im writing about since there is a lot of information to write. I think i put that to a minimum. I also believe it’s well organized too.
- What do citing sources imply about the information you are sharing?
It shows me that by researching, I want the trust of the audience and for them to know that what I’m talking about is true and that we should take it seriously.
- How might you present this information differently to second language learners?

I would try to ask my mom for some words that are used a lot in her community. If I would write it in a second language, I would try to find a friend or a family member to help me, especially if it’s their language.
